The game industry is changing rapidly. Many games are now built by small teams and indie studios. These upstarts are targeting platforms like mobile, Steam, HTML5, wearables, AR/VR, microconsoles, etc. The goal of this group is to highlight this new world of game development.

Our events focus on the nuts and bolts of building games in a small team or for a new platform. We feature talks by professional and hobbyist developers on topics like engineering, game design, art, project mgmt, marketing, audio, fundraising, and more. 

We welcome any current or aspiring contributors to the Austin mobile/indie/web game community, including coders, designers, artists, producers, entrepreneurs, and investors. Join us and help push the Austin game dev scene forward!
