After two months off, we're back with an exciting event featuring the game dev power couple Brian and Alex Tinsman! Alex will provide tips on how to effectively market games on a tight budget. And Brian will discuss game design, leading a team, and building successful mobile games.

Brian is an award-winning game designer and producer with over 37 shipped game titles and total sales of $700+ million. He was the lead designer on eight Magic: The Gathering releases and contributed to Maple Story, Risk, Pokémon, Star Wars: Assault Team, Dungeons & Dragons, Harry Potter CCG, Transformers, Chefville, Battlestone, and Curses. He's also the author of The Game Inventor's Guidebook (http://www.amazon.com/Game-Inventors-Guidebook-Role-Playing-Everything/dp/1600374476), which is focused on board games, card games, RPGs, and tabletop games.
Recently, Brian served as Director of Game Design at Zynga (in San Francisco) and Creative Director of Disney Interactive (in Austin). Meanwhile, Alex has over two decades of consumer and B2B marketing experience with top brands in mobile, software, and gaming. Her successes include landing multiple featured placements for her clients in the iOS App Store, Google Play, and Amazon as well as securing national and local media placements for clients worldwide. Some of her many clients and projects include: Riot Games (League of Legends), Microsoft (Xbox, Halo, Minecraft), Wizards of the Coast (Dungeons & Dragons, Magic: The Gathering), and Hasbro (Star Wars, Avalon Hill).
