Austin Geo Bash - holiday party

This is not atx-osg specific: ALL GIS/Geo*/Mapping meetups & user groups in the greater Austin area will be in attendance

Traditionally, every December CenTexGIS holds an end-of-year holiday get-together. Last year, they expanded that to include SWIGGIS as well. This year, the event is officially being organized by and is open to all GIS-related groups in the Austin area... and that means us, too!

Save the date and invite your friends. It's going to be a grand old geo-party!

Update: the geo-collective will be collecting charitable donations during Geo Bash - see below for details:

"In the spirit of the holidays, please consider bringing a new, unwrapped toy for Operation Blue Santa to the Geo Bash. Operation Blue Santa is a 501(c)(3) non-profit group that has been providing holiday meals and Christmas gifts to families in the Austin area since 1972. Donations may be made online here: http://www.bluesanta.org/dontate/donate.htm and checks can be made to Austin Operation Blue Santa. Volunteer opportunities are available leading up to the delivery date on December 20th (see the website for details & to sign up)."
