Tools of the trade / Ask a gopher

Details
Since Go makes it easy to make tools, come do a lightning talk to show off your favorites. Tools, written in Go or not, that make Go development better, and tools, written in Go, that make working with other stuff better. The more, the merrier.
And since we always welcome people who are new to Go, let's do some Q and A to help everyone learn more about Go. As an experiment, I thought it would be fun to join our IRC channel, #atxgolang on freenode.net, and submit Qs and As by posting share URLs from http://playground.golang.org/ . If you don't feel like dusting off your crusty old IRC client, there is a webby way at http://webchat.freenode.net/ .
Thanks to Trevor Rosen and Rapid7 for providing a venue on short notice.
NOTE: They lock the building at 7:00, hence the 6:30 start time. We'll start the real business at 7:00, though. If you can't make it before 7:00, email me via meetup.com, drop a line in IRC, or wave your arms or something, and we'll get you in.
Directions from Trevor:
"Rapid7’s Austin offices are at 9606 N. Mopac, in the north building of the Stonelake Plaza pair that includes offices for Google and Oracle, etc. We are on the second floor, suite 240. Coming out of the elevators, walk away from the atrium, and you will see a door on the left with the R7 logo. Ring the bell to be let in. People should try to arrive early, as the building’s outer doors are locked starting at 7pm."
