February Meetup - Go 1.6 Release Party!

Details
This month we are proud to be participating in the Go 1.6 release party (https://github.com/golang/go/wiki/Go-1.6-release-party), a worldwide, multi-meetup celebration of this big new release!
Charlie Andrews will be presenting on some of the new things in Go 1.6, focusing on the hot new low-latency garbage collector and support for HTTP2.
As usual, we'll have free beer and pizza provided by Umbel.
We will be giving away a copy of "The Go Programming Language" by Alan A. A. Donovan and Brian W. Kernighan by raffle.
Schedule
• 6:30-7:00 - Meet and greet, eat pizza, drink beer (responsibly)!
• 7:00-9:00 - Charlie's talk on 1.6 plus any 1.6-themed lightning talks the audience might have.
Speaker Bio
Charlie Andrews is a programmer who works as a devops engineer at Umbel. He has been using Go for 3 years. He also dabbles in Rust and uses Python at work.
Location
We are located at 30.2667, -97.7524, behind Trader Joe's inside historic Seaholm Power Plant. Enter through north doors at the bottom of the stairs under the pipes.
Because the entrance is on the back of the building as seen from its address on Cesar Chavez, you may want to search "Power Plant Drive, Austin, TX (https://www.google.com/maps/place/Power+Plant+Dr,+Austin,+TX+78703/)" especially if walking from downtown.
