Austin City Council has placed a bond on the November ballot asking voters to approve $600 million in bonds for an urban rail project.

Join us for happy hour and hear CATO scholar Randal O’Toole (http://www.cato.org/people/randal-otoole) discuss the pros and cons of Austin’s $1.4 billion urban rail initiative, Project Connect. The project, up for a public vote in November 2014, seeks to build a 9.5 mile route from Highland Mall to Riverside Dr.
