Who taught you how to knit/crochet and how long have you been doing it?

My grandmother taught me when I was a kid but I didn't knit much. Twenty four years ago I made my husband a sweater (the first thing I had done in years) and knitted for a while. Then kids interrupted me and about 5 years ago I picked it up again.

What's your favorite fiber?

Hmmm, do I have to pick one? Anything soft and colorful.

If you were stranded on a deserted island with loads of cashmere and rosewood needles (or hooks), what would you make?

I'd try to do a dress - just because I've always wanted to do something on that magnitude.

For you, does knitting/crocheting seem like it's going to be a passing fancy or a lifelong passion? (Hint: If you've been doing it for more than 3 years, I think we already have your answer.) :)

I'm pretty sure it's a lifelong passion.

Introduction

I am a knitter and weaver. Though I'm not very good at either; I simply find them relaxing. I'm a pretty good seamstress and enjoy that as well. I am the mother of three (19, 16, 16) who need me less every day, so I'm able to play with fibers more!
