Who taught you how to knit/crochet and how long have you been doing it?

I taught myself to knit and crochet. My grandmother knitted and crocheted beautiful things and I was so inspired by her. She was there for me when I was learning and had questions.

What's your favorite fiber?

I like anything that can be washed and dried. I am allergic to wool and some synthetic fibers also.

If you were stranded on a deserted island with loads of cashmere and rosewood needles (or hooks), what would you make?

afghans.

For you, does knitting/crocheting seem like it's going to be a passing fancy or a lifelong passion? (Hint: If you've been doing it for more than 3 years, I think we already have your answer.) :)

Lifelong passion. I learned when I was pregnant with my first child at age 19.

Introduction

My name is Perrie Wyatt and I love to knit and crochet! Right now I am crocheting baby blankets for a set of twins that are going to be born January 2013.
