Who taught you how to knit/crochet and how long have you been doing it?

I taught myself how to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off. That was about a year ago. Then I got mad because I messed my project up and didn't know how to fix it. I want to pick it back up again.

What's your favorite fiber?

The ones that don't itch.

If you were stranded on a deserted island with loads of cashmere and rosewood needles (or hooks), what would you make?

Well, I can only knit and purl and bind off, so probably a rrrreeeeaaaallllyyyy long scarf. =)

For you, does knitting/crocheting seem like it's going to be a passing fancy or a lifelong passion? (Hint: If you've been doing it for more than 3 years, I think we already have your answer.) :)

I hope it will be a life-long passion! I love making things and giving them as gifts.

I want to learn to knit and crochet. I can't just sit and watch TV or a movie; I need to have something in my hands. I also want to get involved with prayer shawl ministry.
