The Phoenix Pilot Group Message Board › We Are Hosting Breakfast At The June 9 Breakfast Club Fly-In - Hope To See Y
|Dana and M.||
Dana and I are going to be providing breakfast for the Breakfast Club June 9 fly-in at White Mountain Lake Airpark (21AZ) just as we did for the Breakfast Club Fly-In to KTYL last year.
Here is a link to Warren McIlvoy's report on that event: http://www.public.asu...
And Here's our invitation to all of you!
Dear Flying Friends,
Please fly-in (or drive-in if you're local) and join us for breakfast at 21AZ / White Mountain Lake Airpark on Saturday, June the 9th. (Backup date June 16th)
We enjoyed hosting you last August at KTYL as we celebrated our new-to-us airplane - this year it will be our honor and pleasure to see you all again as we celebrate our new property investment in White Mountain Lakes Airpark. It really is fun to have a runway that we can call our very own, and to have dreams of building one day!
We'll be putting on a tasty spread for y'all, as we did last year - and we're going to try to make this year even better!
Since we have bought into White Mountain Airpark not only can we invite everyone to breakfast there, we can also invite those who want a break from the heat of the valley to bring a tent and camp overnight if you wish - fly in Friday and overnight, or stay on after the breakfast on Saturday. There is good grass by the ramp to pitch a tent, and restrooms in the pilots lounge.
If camping isn't your style but overnighting is, there are motels and a nice B&B nearby - transportation can be arranged.
There is plenty to do there: Bring a fishing rod and try your luck in our lake - the largest private lake in Arizona, or bring your clubs and enjoy a round of golf at the Silver Creek Golf Club - the clubhouse is walking distance from the ramp.
For those wanting to do some fishing, please let us know and we'll have some guest passes on-hand for you (private lake = guest pass needed).
For the golfers, contact Silver Creek Golf Club at 888-537-3673 for tee times or see http://silvercreekgol... .
For meals other than our breakfast there is Sandbaggers Bar and Grill at the Silver Creek Golf Club - good food at good prices and walking distance from the ramp.
