The Portland Axis & Allies Meetup is a group dedicated to enjoying Axis & Allies and similar war based "Ameritrash" type dicefest games.
Our current list of games played includes: Any Axis and Allies brand boardgame, Samurai Swords, Fortress America, Conquest of the Empire, Attack!!!, Superpowers, Tide of Iron, Memoir 44,and a few others (see mesage board for more complete list).
Games played will normally be chosen prior to the meetups and generally last between two and six hours. The game sets used to play the games are provided at each meetup, so owning the games is not a requirement if you want to try them out.
Our group is very friendly and welcoming to new players. Our members are equally skilled at winning and losing, and always up for helping new players learn the games.
