Come and learn Astro Photography from Olympus Trailblazer Alex McClure & Olympus Trailblazer Jamie MacDonald. Your Tuition includes guided fieldwork, editing training, lodging and critiques of your digital files.

Early summer in the high country of Arizona is amazing for Astrophotography.
And we will be staying at 8,000 feet in the aspens & pine trees.
Northern Arizona has some of the darkest skies in the US. In fact Pluto was discovered not far from this location back in 1930.

This is a 3 night workshop and your lodging is included!
We can also be making day trip's to the Grand Canyon and/or the Red rocks of Sedona (both are an hour drive). Or just hang out in the beautiful alpine meadows that surround the cabins and rest!
Plus we will make a special trip to see the Pluto Telescope at the Lowell Observatory.

We will be taking over the Flagstaff Nordic Center (http://www.flagstaffnordiccenter.com/) for 3 nights. One of the great things about this location is you will be able to shoot all night if you like and be just a few steps away from your accommodations.

There are 4 cabins and 3 yurts, so it is 1st come on the cabins (the yurts are cool to). Bathrooms and showers are located in the lodge just a minute walk away.

This workshop is hands on. We will be shooting right beside you. We will also teach you what you need to know get out, setup a camera, and take amazing pictures of the night sky anywhere you go.
