Make New Friends; Have Good Times!

Welcome to the Bay Area Social Club!

We do our best to select inexpensive events that lend themselves quite naturally to socializing. We are a diverse group; what binds us together is our desire to explore the Bay Area in the company of other adventurous souls.

Our famous BASC Saturday Social is our monthly mixer and is a great opportunity to meet other members, have a cocktail or mocktail, and explore cool venues from swanky to dive bar chic. This recurring meetup is led by Sam Sinclair and is usually held in the Oakland/Berkeley area, since that's where she resides.

Tom Merle has been assistant organizing for the past year by cross posting some of his fabulous Culture Places art and wine events (since our meetups overlap in these areas). Tom's events are well organized and well attended and usually take place in San Francisco.

This is a member led group. We'd love your assistance with organizing events in the North Bay, Peninsula, San Francisco, and Walnut Creek areas so that we can expand the reach of our meetup!
