Hey friends!

Scheduled talks for our September BWB Meetup (Monday, September 30, 2013):

  1. Varnish – More than a cache by Bernd Löffeld

After a short introduction about the Varnish Cache in general, we will see which features are used within the myvideo.de (http://myvideo.de/) architecture and see some examples of how it works.

2. Storm: distributed and fault-tolerant realtime computation by Andrii Gakhov

Storm is a free and open source distributed realtime computation system. Storm makes it easy to reliably process unbounded streams of data. I will do a very short overview about Storm framework and give an example how we use it for our company needs.

We already start planning our next meetup, so contact me if you want to have a talk.
