Fox Cities Backpackers Mission Statement
The Fox Cities Backpackers Meetup group exists as a cooperative effort of its members to provide a gathering place for people who share the common interest of backpacking. We pool our time, talents and resources to facilitate backpacking trips and provide resources for our fellow members. We share our knowledge and skills with fellow backpackers and learn together.
Fox Cities Backpackers Bylaws
Please read the bylaws before you participate in any of our events! This is our governing document and you will find answers to many of the question you may have about the group and how it is organized and run within the bylaws.

Liability Waiver
A Yes/Attending RSVP also signifies that you understand the Meetup.com Terms of Service agreement including the waiver of liability it contains and understand that participation is solely at your own risk. It also signifies that you agree to abide by the Fox Cities Backpackers Bylaws and Code of Conduct found therein. If you are not familiar with or do not understand these documents, do not sign up until you are. An organizer can help you locate them. Furthermore, organizers and event hosts are volunteers and do not have any backpacking, safety or first aid related training. Paying for an event is not hiring a guide; it is simply sharing costs between participants.
