NPR and your local station have made a show just for you, and put it into an app: NPR One. Having worked on the project for more than a year, Erica and Jeremy will share some of the secrets behind crafting this new listening experience. Erica has been working in web and mobile product management for the past 7 years. She is now helping NPR to find creative ways to recognize corporate sponsors that both honor the organization’s core principles and provide value to the sponsor. Erica is a Baltimore resident and spends most of her free time experimenting with new cooking techniques and seeing live music.
Jeremy Pennycook - Mobile Technology Manager
Passionate about the future and the breadth of opportunities available for those who are intrepid and willing to adapt, Jeremy leads teams solving problems with creativity, technology and collaboration. Currently, he is spear-heading NPR's efforts to re-imagine digital listening through mobile. When unplugged, he enjoys playing music, riding his bike and exploring as many food trucks as possible.
