Ben Walsh and his team at Pure Bang Games transitioned from making Facebook games to mobile games over a year ago. Come and listen while he shares some of the lessons that he and his team learned about mobile games and building a game studio in Baltimore.
Ben Walsh is the CEO and Founder of Pure Bang Games. Founded in 2010, Pure Bang Games is a regional expert in mobile games development. The studio is currently developing a series of unannounced titles based on a major gaming IP.
Ben also founded Gamescape, an annual video game showcase highlighting the works of talented game developers from around the Greater Baltimore region. He is also the co-founder of Innovate Baltimore, a community development organization aimed at connecting Creative Tech entrepreneurs with the people they need to build and grow their businesses.

VENUE AND PARKING DETAILS:
Advertising.com has offered their space to us for this meetup (huge thanks to Paris Pittman). It's located in Tide Point in the Ivory Building. Enter the building under the large sign that says "Ivory" and walk by the big blue crab then take an immediate left. You can take the water taxi over from Fells Point (landing #8) to landing #10 or you can drive over and park in any spot marked "Visitor" or in the "F" lot.
See below map for detail. The green is where the designated visitor spaces are. Those are marked "visitor" on the pavement. Watch out for 'reserved' or handicap. The purple shaded in area is one of the employee lots which is available for us to park in (I think, since it's after hours). The Blue marker next to the building is the entrance to the Advertising.com meetup space.
