Android Development for Beginners

Details
Sounds good to me! I just got back in town myself (Savannah is amazing) and would like to spend more time coding before meeting up again.

I am unable to make the next two meet ups. Unless someone else is willing to step up and take the lead, I say we adjourn until September 6. Thoughts? Volunteers?

We are skipping August 2 as many of us are out of town, but we will be back hard at it on August 9.
Since paces have varied so far, we'll be circling up and getting everyone through week 2 of the Coursera (https://class.coursera.org/android-001/lecture) course.
Please post questions and comments in the conversation below!
Thanks!
Greg

10 of us are currently taking an online course in Android Development. We will be meeting in the Library every Saturday, to study together.
Anyone is welcome, whether taking the Coursera course, studying on their own, or an expert willing to offer additional help.
Bring your laptop. As this is the first meeting, those of us who have environment set up will help those who need help with setup.
For the online course, check here: https://class.coursera.org/android-001 and Howard County study group https://class.coursera.org/android-001/forum/thread?thread_id=4292
Central Library Conference room: go to the second floor, walk past the info desk, and to the far right corner. It's a small room with a long desk and 10-14 chairs. If the room is locked, you are probably the first one to arrive -- please ask at the info desk to have the room unlocked.
If you prefer different timing, post a suggestion in the comments below.
This is not an official Howard County Library System event.
