Secure by Design with Tim Kulp
Details
Software has become a lucrative attack vector for cybercrime. As companies have fortified their networks with Firewalls and Virus systems they often do little to ensure that the front door is locked, their web applications. In this meeting, we will examine how to start your software project on the right foot for a more secure final product. We will examine the Operational Security Model, Software Security Assurance and wrap up by working together to build out a software Threat Model of our sample system.
Tim Kulp (CISSP, C|EH) leads the development team at FrontierMEDEX building online medical and security intelligence tools. For the past ten years Tim has worked with numerous organizations to build more secure software. When not in the office, Tim writes for various publications including Script Junkie, Hakin9 and 2600 magazine.
