We're back! Back in Columbia that is. I've heard from quite a few people that getting to Baltimore at 6:30 - 7:00 is difficult. ADG Creative has offered us some space (thanks to Anthony D. Paul and Tim Crider). Let me know your thoughts on our location.

Code Review

You know your code works, but have you ever wondered if it would win a beauty contest, or could be improved at all? Well here is your chance to find out! On Wednesday, July 20 Baltimore PHP will host a community code review, moderated by Tim Crider. We will provide a few examples of both good and bad code, but anyone is welcome (AND ENCOURAGED) to bring some examples of their code to let the group evaluate. We always get AWESOME submissions and a lot of GREAT conversation was generated.

Submit your code before the event to code@baltimorephp.org , and we will obfuscate it and get it ready for review.

All levels of code will be accepted. Just starting out in PHP? This is your chance to get help and guidance from people that have made their careers in PHP. Do you write Enterprise level code and want to share your tips and tricks? This is the perfect time to share with other area PHP developers.

If time permits, and during the review, hack on your code and get help and opinions from others!

The meeting starts at 6:30, and we'll get on the code review around 7:00. 6:30 - 7:00 is reserved for chit chat, socializing, pizza and beer! :)

7:00 we'll get under way with the code review!

As usual, we’ll continue our tradition and conversation over a few beers. We'll be going to our usual Columbia spot, Frisco Grille (http://friscogrille.com/).
