Thank you Jeff and Xavier for offering us this opportunity. Interesting conference indeed and a wonderful book "Centerpoint now" which covers more broadly the concept of sustainability.

Thank you for the interesting conference. I did appreciate the diversity of the speakers as I believe change needs to happen at all levels. If we manage to educate consumers about the power that lies in their choices and why they should choose sustainable products, we will see change happen a lot faster. I believe entrepreneurs are key in this education and we should be aware of the efforts they are making to create products that have to compete with the ones from multinationals.

A part from the interventions of Alessandra Sensi and Susana Martín Belmonte, with some valid insights on Fusion technology by Stavros Chatzipanagiotou, the rest of the program was a comedy. Nothing has been discussed that was in anyway of a real value.
A lot of unfocused and unclear talking. The second part of the program was not just a comedy but an intellectual tragedy. With one of the speakers Alexis Fasoli, standing there scratching his head during 10 minutes of ridiculous arguments.
For this guy sustainability is an issue related to the fact that Gucci is buying all the anacondas in the world. He was complaining that as a local artisan, he can not have access to raw animal leather for making his products.

Again, this kind of events using eye catching titles and ambitious programs, do deceive qualified audience and waste people time.

We appreciate your participation in the meeting and regret that you found it to be a waste of your time.
The format was intended to provide a glimpse of the activities and insights of a diverse institutions and individuals. We are glad that you found some of them to be of interest.

With regard to Mr. Fasoli’s presentation, the message that we retain was about the importance of educating both consumers and entreprenuers, about ways in which they can become more socially and environmentaly responsible. We will be drafting a summary of conclusions that will be available for feedback.
