Casey Groves Review Quotes

“The unevenness of the acting is sometimes distracting, especially any time that Casey Groves (who plays Censor, Beaufort’s counselor and the sanest character in the tale) is around, because he’s so much better than everyone else.”

-Review of Off Broadway production of The Witlings fromThe New York Times-

“The cast is led by Casey Groves in the title role. Groves  has both the chops and the sheer stage presence to bring the coach’s personality to life. He effectively elicits both Lombardi’s passion for the sport, as well as his gift of leadership – an ability blending inspiration with the blunt bark of a Patton. It is an appealing performance.”

-Review of Le Petit Theatre's Production of Lombardi from The Times Picayune-
