Today's websites need to be prepared to be viewed from a number of form factors and screen sizes. Designing for desktop only is no longer a smart option, since tablets and smartphones are increasingly used.

I am proposing a workshop to explore the possibilities of CSS's media queries in developing designs that adapt to the screen size, aka responsive design, while seeing the different CSS frameworks availablen that implement responsive design (Bootstrap, Foundation, 1140 Grid, 320 and Up, etc.) and, if there is any time left, learn what to do with high-pixel-density screens like the new iPad's retina display.

This workshop will assume some basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. You will need to bring your own computer with a text editor and a browser installed (no other fancy software needed).
