What are you doing with Big Data?

My company is working on a .NET no-sql datastore aimed at supporting enterprise apps.

What big data technology you are familiar with?

I've looked at various no-sql offerings though not used any in anger. My main experience is in the use of Semantic Web technologies (RDF, SPARQL, Topic Maps) as a way to manage Big Data.

Any topic you'd like to share, hear or learn about?

I'd like to hear more about what people are doing with no-sql stores, why they choose them over "traditional" big data approaches. I'd also like to hear if others are looking at webifying data esp. using the Sem Web stack as a way to divide and conquer big data problems.

I'm an Oxford-based software developer with a strong interest in Semantic Web technologies.
