Big Data DC Monthly Meetup

Details
Hello Fellow Big Data Folks -
I hope to see you at the first Big Data DC meetup next Wednesday, May 11th at 7PM. Clearspring will provide pizza and beverages for the group. Since this is our first meeting it is an opportunity for the group to determine the types of topics that our meetings should cover. Our hope is to hit all aspects of big data processing in the real world. In the future we hope to have presenters share their experiences with distributed algorithms, machine learning, probabilistic data structures, performance, operations, and so on.
I am happy to announce that the founders of FoundationDB, http://www.foundation... (http://www.foundationdb.com/)http://img1.meetupstatic.com/img/clear.gif, will be giving a talk on their experience developing a distributed key/value database. In addition to hearing from the FoundationDB team I will be giving a talk on the analytics architecture that enables Clearspring, http://clearspring.co... (http://clearspring.com/)http://img1.meetupstatic.com/img/clear.gif, to process several terabytes of new data every day.
If you are planning to attend please remember to RSVP.
