Reston Bicycle Club - RBC 2026 Spring Kickoff Ride

Note: Some may want to do the longer ride, but not at the posted speed. That should be fine but you will not have the group to ride with.
Each group will roll with a ride leader, but if your group separates, you may be dropped.

Please note the start times are different for each group.

• 10:00 AM Start: A Group - 21+ mph / 48 mile route (301B)
• 10:05 AM Start: B Group - 19-21 mph / 48 mile route (301B)
• 10:30 AM Start: C Group - 17-19 mph / 31 mile route (301C)
• 10:35 AM Start: D Group - 15-17 mph / 31 mile route (301C)
• 10:45 AM Start: E Group - 12-15 mph / 22 mile route (301D)

The goal is to have all of the groups finish at similar times so we can hang out together at Lost Rhino after the ride. RBC will provide some light refreshments, and Lost Rhino will have a special menu for the RBC riders to purchase food and beer after the ride. Lawn chairs are encouraged for those who want to sit on their lawn and listen to live music or play corn hole.

PARKING INFORMATION:
Parking should be sufficient at Lost Rhino Brewing Company, but if you prefer, we recommend parking at one of the following locations with easy access to Lost Rhino from the W&OD trail:

1. 1.4 miles away - Hampshire Park, 21315 Smith Switch Rd, Ashburn, VA. (bathrooms available)
2. 3.0 miles away – Sterling W&OD Trail Parking, Sterling, VA. (enter off Pacific Blvd.)
3. 3.4 miles away - W&OD Trail Parking Lot and Access Point, 20694 Ashburn Rd, Ashburn, VA 20147. (across from Carolina Brothers BBQ)

No go if conditions are bad. This includes precipitation (rain, =snow, ice) or very high (60% - 100%) probability of precipitation, wet roads, tornadoes, hurricanes, or very high winds.
