Dear Group: Here's another member of the group (Terri) who wants to do an event tomorrow. Please respond directly to Terri at the link below rather than hitting reply to this message. Thanks!

Hey Rob-

I cut and pasted from my single group but I'm fearing the 26 miles is
scaring some people off.

Crane Beach-Bike ride, lunch and splash! No car needed!
Saturday Jul 26

Sat 9:15 AM Location
North Station Commuter Rail
North Station
Boston, MA 02108

How to find us
"I'll have my bike--I'll wait by Dunkin Donuts IN the station
by the rte signs"

Let's go to the beach and get some exercise!

This is an all commuter trip but you are welcome to drive up to
Cranes beach and park to meet us. We'll take our bikes on the
Newberyport Commuter rail in North Station so don't be late
'cause the train won't wait.

You have a few options here; a 26 mile (it's not that hard and
it will not be competative) ride prior to parking your
exercised butt on the beach or head straight to the beach and
we'll meet you. I have a great map of a route around Ipswich
which is beautiful and there are stores along the route to buy
water and other essentials but I suggest you bring the
following:

bathing suit (there are changing rooms)
change of clothes for after
sunscreen
bug spray
towel
air pump (there are also bike shops on the way (3)
snacks
energy drink/gels
cash
BIKE LOCK-essential
water water water!!!!

It would be great to grab some lunch after the beach so I'll
scout around for a venue. We need to be on the commuter rail by
3PM or we are stuck until 6 which is the next train! It's a 45
minute train ride so it will really be pending how good our
timing is - so bring lunch as a back up! We can always grab a
late lunch in the north end upon our return.

This is a very casual trip so if you haven't been on a bike in
a bit-have no fear-let's just have FUN in the SUN! This is
DEFINETELY weather pending!
