Can pick up Seattle riders at the West end of the Mount Baker bike tunnerl around 11:00 am.

Ride Distance:: 20 miles +/-

Hills: No major hills, a few rollers where you can see the tops.

Ride Pace: Moderate 14 to 16 mph.

Ride Description: Let?s get together and pedal over to Alki for lunch. I checked the weather report, ?Few Showers,? so maybe it will be nice enough to do a ride and enjoy it. We will start at the Wilburton Park and Ride, which is easy to find and is on the Lake Washington Loop. We will pedal on bike trails, the I-90 bike trail, city streets with bike lanes, and city streets. I have done this ride many times and know the route very well. I will have frequent regroups and wait at all turns.

I have never ridden with any of you so I don?t know your biking abilities. This is an easy ride and a good way to see everyone and their biking levels. This will be a fun ride, not a death march, so if you can do at least 14 mph come on out.

If we feel like it on the way back we can do the South Lake Washington Loop or the Mercer Island loop to add a few extra miles. Only if we feel like it, if not we will do the posted ride to Alki and back.

Bring either a brown bag for lunch or money to buy lunch. Bring lock if you have one, but we will have someone watching the bikes while others go get lunch.

Please have your bike in great running condition before coming to the ride. Bring spare tubes and tire irons to fix your own flats.
