Mid-Week Back Bay Ride

Let's go for a bike ride around the Back Bay on Wed evening!

This 10-mile ride circles the beautiful Upper Newport Back Bay. We will start out from the parking lot of the Muth Interpretive Center, and ride around the bay.  The route circles around the beautiful Back Bay on a paved bike trail, with a few blocks on the streets through a residential neighborhood.  There will be a couple of short, moderate climbs requiring your lower gears.

This ride generally takes about an hour.  Have a light jacket as there is often a breeze in the late afternoon.  And as always, bring water, your helmet, and a spare inner tube.

Post ride dinner to be decided by those who ride!  Check out the area (via google maps) and see what's nearby that strikes your fancy!   When it starts getting darker earlier we'll move the start time back in half hour increments.

Appreciate the warm reception I received on my first foray into the organized bike riding world. Nice people, good ride; what's not to like. Thanks to the members and organizer(s). Look forward to next ride...

Nice little cruise around the bay, little wind, no problems. Got to stretch it out a bit with John and new member Mark between Newport Dunes and Eastbay. Front derailleur adjustment passed with flying colors, TG for YouTube instruction videos!
