Often times it helps to be connected to people who understand a bit of what you are going through. This is a great place to meet local people suffering from bipolar or depression that meet as peers providing care and support. Family and friends of people diagnosed with Bipolar or Depression are welcome to attend meetups.

“Hey Mark what's up? This is Robert from the group Wednesday. It was nice meeting you, I joined that social group Breann and you talked about so I might see you there sometime. Anyway I'll hit you up on here if I'm doing anything amusing, maybe we can hang out sometime. Lately I've been playing basketball. I'm terrible but it's still fun. Anyway, I'm sure I'll be talking to you.”

“I have a true case of Bi-polar...either depression or very productive mania. It is managed, through years of personal studies, by medication, but I'd like to become part of a group of people that understand. I'd like to be part of a professnl group”

“I joined this group because I have very little social support and I'm really lonely. I think this group will help me get out at least once in awhile. I also just want to try some new options interns of coping with depression.”
