Piotr Piasecki - Piotr wrote his Masters Thesis on Bitcoin (https://dl.dropbox.com/u/3658181/PiotrPiasecki-BitcoinMasterThesis.pdf), is a moderator of the Bitcoin subreddit (http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin) and is a local expert on (and collector of) Casascius Physical Bitcoins (https://www.casascius.com/). Piotr has been partnering with David Lowy on many financial technology ventures - with their latest one involving Ripple.
David Lowy - David has been in Bitcoin since the very beginning, was once the owner of the bitcoin.com (http://www.bitcoin.com/) domain (he sold for a tidy profit) and he has his fingers in many pies in Vancouver's financial technology sector. David just took delivery of a Lamassu Bitcoin ATM (https://lamassu.is/) - and with more on the way - he will soon be deploying them in locations across the Lower Mainland.
