Bitcoin: Busines, economics, and how to win big in the coming disruption.

Chances are if you have bitcoin, your trying to think of ways to get more! Maybe you are inspired by making $250,000 in 30 days, or maybe the doubling of the price of BTC has you seeing golden coins in your sleep, or perhaps you just have an interest in the business and economic side of bitcoin. Whatever the reason then, this would be the place for you! We'll have a topical discussion covering the most important aspects of this technology and the coming disruption.

Also if you are coming please note that the topics we will be covering assume a basic knowledge of the following points:

1. A basic understanding of how/why/or that this technology does work ("it works").

2. General understanding of the resiliency of this or any P2P technology ("it isn't going away").

3. Given the above, along with its economic advantages, bitcoin is a superior technology ("its better").

This technology is already causing a disruption and we will cover the general business and economic environment, initial areas of disruption, pitfalls and big ideas, all in the name of increasing your BTC balance!

Stay tuned for location and other updates.

Maybe. My apartment burned to the ground on Saturday. I lost everything including by bitcoin wallet and miner.

I learned my lessons early enough and only lost some 5 BTC back in the days.. But yeah, having the wallet secret "inside your head" is the best strategy I can think of right now. Maybe we can discuss this in one of the meetups if everyone is not familiar with it.

as long as they are encrypted, this should be fine. I wouldn't trust cloud services with unencrypted wallets.

I didn't have insurance. I'm a student and my dad is living on a government seniors income. We couldn't afford insurance. I still have to figure out my BFL Single upgrade affects.
