Aurora Borealis over Boundary Waters in Minnesota 3 Days/2 Nights

Details
Chances are good to see the Aurora Borealis over these dates (Fall Equinox) in this location because of the latitude, alignment of magnetic fields of sun and earth, and this year there's an 11 year solar cycle creating more magnetic storms which will make the lightshow peak with more color and activity. (See page 36 September isssue of Backpacker Magazine)

Meet at any of these airports (flexible) Minneapolis, Duluth, or Grand Marais-Cook County MN. Then we drive north toward the Boundary Waters, hike in through old growth pines to the east end of South Lake on the Canadian Border. I'll have a rental car that can accommodate 3-4 additional campers.
COSTS:
- Your transportation to Minnesota
- Rental Car for 2 Days - divided equitably - will be around $125 total/# of campers.
- Gas divided equitably - probably around $100 total/# of campers (depending on where you arrive in MN).
- $16 per person for camping permits
Days are kind of flexible, but I'm thinking Friday to Sunday- could possibly start on Thursday or end on Monday, but we'll see who wants to attend and what flight schedules are.
RSVP is set to WAITING LIST until attendees are confirmed.
