Hi, also for everyone who wants to jump onto the "debian repository on S3"-train. I can highly recommend not only looking at deb-s3, but also aptly (http://www.aptly.info), who just pushed out their S3 support and seem to be a promising project for apt-repository management.

Hi, I found this interview interesting regarding tools being created to use Docker for production web services: http://www.centurylinklabs.com/the-future-of-docker/?hvid=3hLgNz

One of this guy's projects is a docker image for running the Consul service discovery inside docker, I think it's an eye-opening example of how to design a containerised application which you can run without having to customise the image or change any config files: https://registry.hub.docker.com/u/progrium/consul/

as follow-up to the fishbowl topic "using docker in production": you may follow our blog where we started a small series describing our deployment, including docker. see http://blog-it.hypoport.de/2014/07/25/a-continuous-deployment-pipeline-with-gradle-and-docker/

    Fishbowl-Topic Proposal:
I would love to talk about how people use docker. In production. In their own datacenter and in the could.

That already was the fishbowl topic of the[masked] meetup: "What is the risk of giving DEVs root access in production?" :)

If I may change my vote: I would also prefer to hear about practical Docker and how various people use it in real life.

Fishbowl idea: "Where do you keep all your secrets?" meaning where in your platform do you store security credentials, passwords, access keys etc. And who has access to that and how do you bring such secrets to your servers.
