There are dozens of reasons to keep a blog. Businesses use them as a way to keep in touch with their customers, entrepreneurs use them for personal branding and writers use them as a portfolio. Although blogs are relatively simple to setup, there are some easy tricks to make yours more successful.
The first part in this three part series, we will cover all the bases. Whether you are an avid blogger or you're just getting started, this workshop will give you helpful tips.
What we'll cover:
Basic setup of a blog - choosing the right software, hosting service, picking a totally awesome name, basic plugins, choosing a design
The Must Haves - Setting up contact information, an About Me/ Us page and other content based elements that make a successful blog.
Essential Add Ons - The basics add ons that every blog should have.
This workshop will be the foundation for future courses (in December and January), which will be more advanced.
