Welcome to our regular meetup! We are a casual group of people who enjoy playing board games. We play a wide variety of games, especially Euros, but you'll also find strategy games, word games and party games at our meetups.

This spring, in addition to playing games, we will be raffling off a bunch of popular games! There will be a raffle at each meetup. Simply by showing up, you'll get a chance to win free games. The more often you come, the more entries you'll receive.

Our weekly meetup is in a TERRIFIC space for games steps from the Kendall Square T, with easy parking, and lots of room to spread out in. Full directions are below. The building door does get locked in the evening, but there is plenty of foot traffic in and out. If you expect to arrive later than 8:30, send Tucker a message ahead of time, and we'll make sure someone is there to let you in.

Our meetups happen once a week (alternating Mondays and Wednesdays), from 7:00 pm until the last people leave (usually quite a few hours).

Our group has been running since 2006, and at this point we have a pretty large crowd of regulars. A lot of people come once every few weeks, and we don't require RSVPs, so the RSVP list is often much smaller than our actual attendance. Don't be discouraged if you only see a few people signed up. We expect about 25-40 people at most of our meetups.

We play whatever people bring, which typically includes a lot of Euros -- but people of all preferences and experience levels are welcome! Here's a "tip of the iceberg" look at a few games that have been popular lately:

7 Wonders, Terra Mystica, Race for the Galaxy, Settlers of Catan, Splendor, One Night Werewolf, Hansa Teutonica, Concordia, Super Big Boggle, Machi Koro

As you can see, there is a pretty big variety, and with multiple games going at once there's something for every taste. A few of our regular attendees bring about 20-30 games between them, so there's always a lot to choose from. But if you have a game you like, just bring it with you!
