The Club meets on the 2nd Monday of the month at 7pm to talk about the book of the month and socialise over a coffee/wine/pint/bite.

We meet at the Slug and Lettuce, 184 George Lane, E18 1AY, a couple of minutes from South Woodford underground station, itself 29 minutes from Oxford Circus Station on the Central Line. It's also on bus routes 179, W12, W13, W14 and 2-5 minutes from the North Circular/ A12/ M11, with easy parking.  This particular Slug and Lettuce tends to be reasonably quiet, especially on a Monday. As a bonus, food on Mondays is 1/2 price, so often some of us have a bite to eat.

To see what books we plan to read see the box below where it says "Let's Meetup and" To see what books we have been reading see the box below where it says "Let's Meetup and" - click on the tab for PAST meetups.

We have broadened the activities of the club to include going out for meals, movies and whatever else takes our fancy.  The consistent feature will continue to be the monthly book meet. Hope you'll be joining us for either or both!
