Hi All,

On behalf of the Austin Book Artists Workshop Alliance (ABAWA) I would like  to invite you to the August Workshop.  In case you can’t open the attached flyer, here is the info.

The Art of Post Binding with Liz Hamel

BettysBookForFLyer (3)    Pink_Ivory (2)

August 11, 2012, 9am-4pm

South Austin (Brodie Lane and William Cannon)

$75 workshop fee, $20 materials fee (includes book board, decorative papers and ribbons, and metal posts)

Learn to construct a hardbound photo album or journal using the post binding technique. Participants will choose between a metal post and ribbon binding and between two sets of decorative materials.

Her father and grandfather were both illustrators in Manhattan from the 40s through the 80s and sported a Mad Men flair. She keeps their artistic influence and spirit flourishing through her love of creating books and lettering arts.
