What we’re about
Welcome to The Boston Sailing Meetup/spiritSAIL,
We group of sailors (experienced and aspiring) and sailboat owners that love to sail and cruise; meet other sailors to be on the water with for daysails, cruising, social events, and winter excursions to Grenada and the Grenadine Islands. We strive to continue to learn to be better sailors through instruction and practice. We are a 'virtual club' and are very active around Boston Harbor, the North Shore, and Narragansett Bay.
Boston Sailing Meetup/spiritSAIL is cruising oriented in our activities but many members race as well. We share a passion for the spirit of sailing - this is the heart behind our activities.
If you are a sailboat skipper or owner sometimes needing crew or wanting to have more opportunities to raft-up, daysail or cruise, consider becoming a skipper with Boston Sailing Meetup/spiritSAIL. We have a great crew pool and have a lot of member boats actively sailing (days, weekends, passaging), all welcoming other sailors to join in the fun.
We also work hard to keep members abreast of all relevant training and cultural events in the area that are sailing related.
