This release focuses on the editing experience in WordPress, and brings what are likely to be welcome improvements for anyone who spends time creating content in the admin. Erick will not only cover the new features that will be immediately visible upon upgrade, but some hidden gems and code-level changes as well.

Whether you use a service like deployhq.com (http://deployhq.com/) or just use git, you can now update staging and production code in one quick step. Unfortunately copying your WordPress database from one environment to another can still be quite painful. In this talk, we'll take a look at how my free WP Migrate DB plugin has been solving this problem for years and how the new pro version goes even further and is saving developers a ton of time.
