While we gather information about sponsors/food/agenda, we are proud to announce our talks.

Beginner & Intermediate Talk:

What's New in WordPress 3.6 by Erick Hitter (@ethitter)

WordPress 3.6's release is imminent, so the logical question is, "What's coming?" This release focuses on the editing experience in WordPress, and brings what are likely to be welcome improvements for anyone who spends time creating content in the admin. Erick will not only cover the new features that will be immediately visible upon upgrade, but some hidden gems and code-level changes as well.

Bio:
Erick is a local WordPress developer working for Automattic, Inc., the company that runs WordPress.com. When he isn't leading the team focused on building customization tools for WordPress.com users, he contributes to WordPress Core and helps organize WordCamp Boston. For the WordPress 3.6 release, he was also co-lead of the team that worked on enhancements to the Revisions system.

Developer Talk:

A Critical Piece Missing In Your WordPress Development Workflow by Brad Touesnard (@bradt)

Deploying WordPress has gotten a lot easier in recent years. Whether you use a service like deployhq.com (http://deployhq.com/) or just use git, you can now update staging and production code in one quick step. Unfortunately copying your WordPress database from one environment to another can still be quite painful. In this talk, we'll take a look at how my free WP Migrate DB plugin has been solving this problem for years and how the new pro version goes even further and is saving developers a ton of time.

Bio:
Founder of Delicious Brains (http://deliciousbrains.com (http://deliciousbrains.com/)), a company building super awesome products for WordPress. Brad comes to us from Halifax, Nova Scotia!
