PowerShell on Azure: Turbocharging Azure Automation

Come join PowerShell MVP Aleksandar Nikolić (@alexandair) to understand what this PowerShell thing is all about - and how to use it to turbocharge your Windows Azure toolbox: how to spin up a new VM, scale, set up networking, and more - all from the comfort of a few lines of PowerShell. The capabilities go well beyond simple deployment.

Of particular interest to the IT Pro, WazOps (Windows Azure DevOps), and Software Developers interested in automation.

In the opening talk, Bill Wilder will review some of the many recent announcements from Microsoft about enhancements and new features released for Windows Azure.

(This event will be held upstairs at NERD in the Commons which is entered from the 10th floor.)

It was interesting and informative. Aleksander demonstration of provisioning vms on the fly was exciting.
It would be great if the ppt can be shared.

Aleksandar is a true PowerShell guru. His passion was obvious throughout as he led us through a host of practical Azure examples. Thank you!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
