The beginner's track will start at 6:00pm, which is primarily for newer developers but everyone is welcome.
At 6:30pm, food and beverages will be provided while you mingle with your fellow Rubyists. Around 7:15pm we'll do announcements followed by our presentations.
Andrew Carmer will lead off with a talk on Ruby Home Automation. He will cover the possibilities of automation with Ruby, Arduino and the Raspberry Pi.
Our second talk is Lessons on API Development by Will Sterling. He will cover lessons learned and tips from adding a public API to a several times morphed Rails application acquired through acquisition.
