Welcome to the Black Professionals of Houston. We are excited you stopped by and look forward to meeting you at our launch mixer this coming November 6.
Our chapter is an extension of a much larger organization, "Black Professionals of America," which has chapters developing in major cities around the country-Dallas, Oaklahoma City, Atlanta, Miami and New York City are already on board, with D.C., Chicago, Las Vegas and others to follow in the coming months.
Our mission is to unite black professionals across the city via networking events, business forums, family gatherings, life improvement seminars, and of course, plenty of opportunities to party, travel and attend special events of all kinds.
Our group is new, but our concept is not! We invite members to join with an open mind to the possibilities of growth. As a BP-HOU member, you are a tastemaker of the highest order...and we appreciate your interest. But it will take more than your membership here to make this chapter work.
If you are a black professional who owns their own small business, large corporation, work for the city, do hair from home, volunteer at a community-oriented facility-you are one of us, and we would like to help you get closer to your goals.
This isn't just another meetup group...we are a way of life-YOUR life!
Thanks again for stopping by!

This event is designed to introduce Houston residents to our brand of Black Professionalism. We do not propose to answer or address all the needs of a BP at once; rather, we are interested in right where black professionals are at the moment and picking up the ball to run with it as we all see fit!
