I only ran into a small group of Space coast 9-12'er and could not get close, I only saw the t- shirt on a flag staff. Anyway, my brother, best friend and I had a great time. We arrived in DC at 3:30 A.M. and had a private tour of the Nation's Mall and Monuments. Matt Jankowski

We knew we must attend the 912 March on DC when we first heard of it being discussed 6 mos ago. I can't find the words to express how we felt when we were packed like sardines on the train to the meeting place and then when we walked up to the Freedom Plaza and saw thousands of other like minded people from all over this great nation; I was overwhelmed. I knew I was witnessing and experiencing a significant event in American history whether the media wanted to report on it or not. That experience stayed with me through out the day as I was fortunate to be near the front of the march and was within viewing distance of the stage and capital steps. From my vantage point I was able to watch as the crowds behind us marched down Penn Ave and filled in the mall extending to the Washington monument. They were still coming for hours after we settled in our place. We were so packed together yet there was such a spirit of unity and civility that it made the event all the more powerful.

My husband says there were close to 2 million at the march in Washington. People from every state in the nation sacrificed time, comfort and money to be there. They carried an array of message posters; ranging from health care to abortion concerns, to taxes, to our freedoms being under attack (freedom of speech, the press, the right to bear arms, religion etc.) The crowd was dignified, yet strongly enthusiastic, they were concerned citizens who would return again next year if the situation warrented a return. They showed patriotism, love of family, the Constitution, their country, their military, their faiths. They were all against the present government and the policies that are destroying America. It was a great day for Americans to stand side-by-side in solidarity for a common cause -- to take our nation back from those seeking to destroy our sacred institutions and our Constitution!

Incredible, fantastic, just can't emagine how that many people could get together!
The people, the signs, the speakers were all just great. Can't get over all the signs, didn't seem to be two of the same.
Great to meet like minded people from all over the USA consentrated to speak out to DC!
