It's still March, weather is still a bit cold. Please dress appropriately. If you have soccer cleats (plastic) please wear them as the grass may be still a little bit slippery.
As the weather gets nicer and warmer, we want to move our activities to the outdoors. Hence I want to invite you all to come out and throw some frisbees.
We had a beginner's team in the Vancouver Ultimate League last year, which consist of all but 2 total beginners. The team had a great blast!
This weekend looks to be sunny and warm enough to start our first casual throw arounds.
Date: March 29, 2014 (Saturday!)
Place: Tisdall Park (Ash and 49th - one block west of Cambie / 49th station).
This year, we are looking to have 2 teams in the league - one beginners team, and one advanced team. Hence we are looking for people to join! Whether you are a beginner or an advanced player, please come out and join us for the first of several casual throw arounds. If you are new to the game, myself and some members of last year's team will teach you some basic techniques about throwing, catching, and the concepts of the game.
Do come out and enjoy the sun!
