OPEN LAB: Free Software

It's Open Lab and non-members are encouraged to come down and check out the space, watch our tutorial , or work on your own projects.

Fourth Mondays are about Free Software and doing things with Open Source technology. Whether you use MacOS, Windows, or Linux, there is a huge selection of free and open source software available for almost every task.

Each session will include demos on what some of these programs are capable of, and how

• Business: Financial management, Office Suites, Network servers

• Graphics: Photo manipulation, illustration, 3D modeling, video editing

• Internet: Web Browsers, email clients, P2P filesharing

• Games: Real time strategy, First person shooters, puzzles, cards, and classics

• Audio: Music players, audio editors, Music composition

• Education: Math and science, astronomy, Offline Wikipedia
