We meet once a month in Chicago to participate in 2 short trainings, ask and answer questions, and support each other in the business of building performance. Special consideration is given to retrofitting existing buildings, which is perhaps not the sexiest part of our industry, but is nevertheless crucial now than ever, due to the mandates of federal and local weatherization and retro-commissioning programs.
Members must be professionals in the field, or training to be so. Consumers and homeowners are asked not to attend, to allow for discussions that require significant technical knowledge, and also to free members to discuss challenges with clientele, ethical issues, and problems with current standards.
Residential, Commercial, and Industrial buildings alike are discussed.
Its content is only available to members.
To learn more, contact the organizer directly, or you can go ahead and join the group.
