I'm helping start up an experimental food market that sells nothing in packaging. BYOC (Bring your own container) shopping. Please join if you have any interest or points for either Austin or other cities. Through a cooperative community effort--we'll work this out! We're Banning "sanitary" packaging and trusting local & bring it home! Our greatest challenge is the dispensaries and how they will keep track of what is dispensed into shopper's containers.

  “I love to be GREEN, recycle, why package at the store and then come home and do some more, simply to take the plastic bulk bags back to the store for recycling, or in some foods cases- simply throw them away, adding yet more to the landfill.”
