Critical Mass is a mass-cycle event that asserts the rights of non-car traffic to share the roads. It shows that cycling in the city can be fun, safe and better than polluting with cars. Last Friday of every month, 5:30pm at the Eau Claire Plaza.
On the last Friday of every month, cyclists around the world gather to ride the streets together to assert the rights of non-automotive traffic to use the streets.
The ride gathers at the plaza starting at 5:30. We usually head out closer to 6 for a ride that usually goes for half an hour to an hour. The route of the ride can be different every month, usually just made up along the way.
