Critical Mass is a mass-cycle event that asserts the rights of non-car traffic to share the roads. It shows that cycling in the city can be fun, safe and better than polluting with cars. Last Friday of every month, 5:30pm at the Eau Claire Plaza.
On the last Friday of every month, cyclists around the world gather to ride the streets together to assert the rights of non-automotive traffic to use the streets.
The ride gathers at the plaza starting at 5:30. We usually head out closer to 6 for a ride that usually goes for half an hour to an hour. The route of the ride can be different every month, usually just made up along the way.
Newcomers are always welcome. Read more
