Meeting Description: This is not really a Meetup Group Thing, but I'll be there and anyone who buys a ticket is welcome to come. Be sure and check out the pictures link to see if this is your thing. it's a pretty "alternative" crowd.

SOAK: The Portland Regional Burning Man Campout is June 27-29
The event is held on private land about 10 minutes outside of Salem.
This is a leave no trace, pack it in, pack it out camping event.
NO water on site- bring water.

Yes, you can drive to your camping spot unload and then park your car
in the lot.
Yes, it is RV friendly, there is a graveled parking area with nice
grass and trees around the edges where you can set up which is very
close to everything. There are no "hookups" and such of course.
Yes, you can camp in your car.
Yes, you can bring your well behaved and supervised dog.
Yes you can bring your well behaved and supervised kid.
There is a family friendly camping area (thanks to Torria) and
activities for kids. Under 12 are free.
Yes, there are porta-potties and no showers (bring your own sun shower)
